Marian's story

Rehabilitation …again!

Rehabilitation …again!

5th October 2015 2 Comments

I'm really not sure where the time has gone this week.  Apart from the fact it takes me twice as long to do with one hand what I would normally do with two, I seem to have slept a lot since returning from France week ago. I'm now fully back in the UK's national health service including the inevitable wait for appointments. The clips (metal "staples", rather than stitches) were taken out of my elbow today.  It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it might be, with only the clip right on … [Read More...]

September 2015 arrived and I was fit and well and ready for the challenge. Just short of half way, however, life threw me another curve ball, I came off the bike and broke my elbow. Ride over, feeling incredibly disappointed.

I'm now looking to the next challenge but think I should perhaps steer clear of France!
