The Rapha Women’s 100 challenge is an annual event that Rapha (supplier of the Sky cycling team kit) promote to get women cycling 100km in one day. Riding 100km is a challenge I have only done once before (and not since the accident) so I was well and truly up for it. What we hadn’t figured on was the weather (truly awful) and the fact that I have only just come from a two week holiday off the bike. In my case, it’s the Rapha Women’s 98.5!! If I had known I was so close I would have cycled around the car park a few times!!
We stopped at The Loaf in Crich for a late breakfast. Our second stop of the day was at Hackwood Farm Tea Rooms and Farm Shop. This is a great place – I wish that it were closer to home! I think that the photos speak for themselves.
